Glass bead doped with Titanium (Ti3+) Ions
Size about 13mm – Weight ~ 1g – Material: Ba Phosphate glass:Ti3+ 4 mol%.
It is hard to get this color due to rapid oxidation of the Titanium to colorless Ti4+ in the melt.
Nice glass bead. Each one handmade of phosphate glass in our lab.
The beads shows the typical titanium blue color
